This project for the Rowe Library, on Zoar Road in Rowe, MA, is nearing completion. We were asked to remove existing gable end windows, frame the cleared area for new windows and install them. When finished, we will have installed exterior trim and siding inside and outside. Inside, the wall will be insulated and drywall will be hung, primed and painted. The “after” photo, right, shows the completed project with much better insulated glass and larger panes for a cleaner, more attractive look.
The new gable end windows are low E with argon gas insulation and provide a lot of natural light for better reading.
